Pashinyan, Macron mull agreements reached in Washington between Baku, Yerevan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron, Report informs referring to the press service of the Armenian prime minister.
Nikol Pashinyan informed President Macron about the results of the meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and US President Donald Trump in Washington on August 8.
"The prime minister presented to the French president the results of the talks held in Washington on August 8, 2025, in particular, the initialing of the "Agreement on Peace and Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan", a joint appeal to the OSCE on the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group mechanisms, unblocking regional communications within the framework of the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty and jurisdiction of countries and on the basis of reciprocity, as well as the Trump Route to International Peace and Prosperity project," reads the message.
During the conversation, Pashinyan also emphasized that the established peace opens up new investment opportunities not only for Armenia itself, but also for the entire South Caucasus region.
