Numan Kurtulmus: UN Security Council is unable to perform its functions

The UN Security Council (SC) is unable to perform its functions, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Numan Kurtulmus, said during his speech at the opening ceremony of the new academic year of Kocaeli University, Report informs.

"Today, the terms 'international law' and 'war crimes' have lost their meaning. Today, the UN Security Council is completely indifferent to wars and military conflicts in some regions. What war did the UN stop? Was it able to stop the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine and prevent war crimes? Nope."
