Numan Kurtulmus: Opposition groups in Syria must gain people's trust

Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Numan Kurtulmus outlined the priority for Syria during a session of the assembly, Report informs via Anadolu Agency.

Kurtulmus emphasized that one of the main issues moving forward is ensuring full stability in Syria: "For this, the opposition groups must gain the trust of the people. Undoubtedly, one of Türkiye's main goals is to ensure the safe and dignified return of the immigrants we have hosted in our country for many years."

He also urged the opposition groups that have seized power to act responsibly and avoid any ill-considered steps that could disrupt stability.
