Meeting between Azerbaijani and Georgian defense ministers ends

The meeting between Azerbaijan's Defense Minister, colonel-general Zakir Hasanov visiting Georgia, and his Georgian counterpart Juansher Burchuladze has ended.

Report's Georgian bureau informs that the sides discussed prospects for cooperation between the two ministries.

They expressed satisfaction with the level of relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia and stressed the importance of deepening these ties.

In conclusion of the meeting, the sides signed the plan of defense cooperation between the two countries.

A bilateral meeting has kicked off between the defense ministers of Azerbaijan and Georgia - Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov and Juansher Burchuladze.

According to Report's local bureau, the meeting is being held in the Kakheti region.

Later on, the Georgian minister will meet with the Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akar. Following the bilateral meetings, a trilateral meeting of the ministers will be held.
