Report informs citing RIA Novosti that seven people, including Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who was nominated by the Nur Otan party headed by former President Nursultan Nazarbayev, were registered as presidential candidates.

Notably, President is elected for a term of five years.

Earlier it was reported that by the preliminary data of the CEC of Kazakhstan, current head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was winning the election with 70.76% of the votes.
