The exchange of 200 hostages between Russia and Ukraine after Turkiye’s mediation is a significant step towards the end of the war, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told journalists at the UN General Assembly, Report informs.
The President said the efforts to ensure peace between the two countries continue.
Erdogan thanked Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy for the exchange of hostages.
