As of June 9 in the morning, 14,103 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Armenia. The number of infected in one day has grown by 428, Report says, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the country.

5,226 people have recovered. Currently, 8,573 are getting treatment.

The total death toll reached 227, as ten died with COVID-19.

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province, and the virus has spread to more than 200 countries and territories since then.

To date, COVID-19 cases surpassed 7,3 million globally, resulting in more than 3,6 million recoveries and over 413,000 deaths.

On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
