Georgia can always count on Turkiye's support to achieve common goals, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in a congratulatory letter on the appointment of his Georgian counterpart Ilia Darchiashvili, Report informs.
The Turkish Foreign Minister expressed hope for closer cooperation with his Georgian counterpart:
"I look forward to working closely with you to further strengthen our ties in all areas of mutual interest. This, in turn, will contribute to the well-being of our peoples, as well as peace and stability in the region."
Darchiashvili also received congratulatory letters from several Azerbaijani and Armenian colleagues, including Jeyhun Bayramov and Ararat Mirzoyan. The ministers wished the Georgian Foreign Minister success in his future endeavors.
