Azerbaijan accounts for over 89% of Georgia's electricity imports this year

In January-July 2019, Georgia exported 641,368,000 kWh of electricity from Azerbaijan, Report's local bureau informs citing the Electricity System Commercial Operator (ESCO).  In the reporting period, the total volume of electricity imported by the neighboring country was 716,020,000 kWh. Azerbaijan accounted for 89.57% of this volume.

In January-July, Georgia imported 74,651,000 kWh of electricity from Russia.
