Zelenskyy: 50 tanks will not solve problem

Western tanks will not be able to solve the issue of Russian aggression completely, but will give additional motivation to the Ukrainian defenders, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, Report informs.

“When the Russian army with a thousand tanks is against us, 10, 20, or 50 tanks provided by the countries will not solve the problem. They do a very important job - they motivate our fighters to fight for their values. Because they see that the whole world is on your side,” Zelenskyy said.

In addition, he thanked German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier for their help but stressed that he wanted a clear answer regarding the supply of Leopard-2 tanks.
