About 3.7 billion people around the world do not have internet access, which is another form of inequality, the President of the 75th Session of the UN General Assembly Volkan Bozkir said, Report informs.

“The fact remains that around 3.7 billion people are still cut off from digital technologies, and are unable to work, study or shop online,” he noted.

Bozkir called for the elimination of the growing digital divide that threatens to develop into a new form of inequality.
