The next hearing in the UK on extradition of Julian Assange, the Wikileaks founder, will be held on May 30, Report informs citing RIA Novosti.
Notably, today Westminster Magistrate's Court held a meeting which began with a delay of an hour and a half and ended in ten minutes. Assange was not brought to the court, he answered the questions of the judge by video link from prison.
He made only one statement at the hearing – he refuses to surrender to the United States, does not admit accusations, as he is engaged in journalism.
During the meeting, the American side confirmed its request for extradition, while the judge recalled that not all the documents were provided on this case. The United States should submit the documents till June 12.
The following hearings will be held May 30 and, in all appearances, they will be held technically as well.
