Kuwait reports first coronavirus-related death

Kuwait has kicked off a sanitization campaign as part of the country’s ongoing efforts to combat COVID-19. The campaign “will cover all areas of the Capital Governorate, following similar works in Al-Farwaniyah Governorate. The authorities also urged citizens to stay at home and practice social distancing amid the outbreak, which has so far affected 417 people in the country.

The Health Ministry of Kuwait announced the first death from COVID-19 in the country, Report says, citing KUNA.

The victim of coronavirus was a 46-year-old Indian citizen.

479 people have so far infected with the coronavirus in the country.
