Ukraine can help Moldova get rid of Russian invaders, Yury Kamelchuk, member of the ruling Servant of the People Party of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, told Report.

He stressed that Russia occupied part of the territory of Moldova, and the unrecognized Republic of Transnistria exists only because it is protected by the Russian military: “This is an internal issue of Moldova. Of course, Ukraine respects the sovereignty of Moldova. Therefore, official Kyiv is not going to intervene in this matter. But if Russia wants to expand the scope of this conflict or if it tries to take steps against Ukraine from the territory of the so-called republic, or if the Moldovan authorities turn to the official Kyiv, we can help Moldova get rid of the Russian invaders.”
