Iranian Foreign Minister: Strikes on Israeli territory have changed balance of power in Middle East

Tehran believes that drone and missile attacks on Israeli territory on the night of April 14 “changed the balance of power” in the Middle East region, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said, Report informs via IRNA.

"Undoubtedly, the execution of this valuable and complex military action, which was carried out on the basis of the recognized principle of legitimate self-defense and in accordance with recognized international laws and norms, presented a new definition of the balance of power in the Middle East region," Abdollahian said.

On the night of April 14, Iran attacked targets in Israel with drones and missile in a wave of attacks that lasted about five hours.

The Israeli side noted that the Defense Forces (IDF) intercepted 99% of about 300 Iranian shells. Most of the launches were carried out from Iran, with a small number from Iraq and Yemen.
