Earthquake measuring 8.1 strikes off coast of Mexico

Baku. 8 September. REPORT.AZ/ An 8.1 magnitude earthquake has been detected off the coast of southern Mexico.

Report informs citing RIA Novosti, European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) says.

The quake hit around 70 miles from the west coast of Mexico, near Tres Picos in the state of Chiapas.

No information reported on casualties.
