Borrell warns Europe can’t replace US support for Ukraine

Europe cannot replace the United States in supporting Ukraine, they are essential, the European High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, said upon his arrival at the meeting of the European Political Community in Granada, Spain.

He warned that Europe will not be able to fill the gap if Washington political strife undermines US support for Ukraine:

"Of course, we can do more, but the United States is something indispensable for supporting Ukraine."
