Blinken, Lavrov discuss security consultations on the phone

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held a telephone conversation on Tuesday to discuss last week's security consultations and Moscow's proposals to this end.

TASS quoted a statement by the head of the press service of the State Department, Ned Price, Report says.

"They discussed the January 10 Strategic Stability Dialogue, the Russia-NATO Council meeting on January 12, and the OSCE Permanent Council meeting on January 13," the document says.
