4 F-16 jets of the Turkish Air Force were deployed to Romania to patrol the country’s skies within the framework of the NATO Air Policing mission, the Romanian Ministry of National Defense said, Report informs.
“A crew of approximately 80 servicemen and 4 F-16 jets will fly alongside Romanian Air Force pilots in an enhanced air policing mission under NATO command. The joint implementation of these missions contributes to the strengthening of interaction between the Romanian and Turkish air force,” MoD said in a statement.
