Milli Majlis prepares response statement to Iranian Parliament

Milli Majlis prepared a response statement to the Iranian Parliament.

Report informs that MP Kamran Bayramov brought the draft text of the statement to the attention of members of parliament.

The statement was put to vote and accepted.

The statement says that the Milli Majlis considers the Iranian parliament's adoption of a statement condemning Azerbaijan's opening of an embassy in Israel as an attempt to interfere in the internal affairs of our country:

"This statement, which is a clear example of open disrespect towards Azerbaijan, is Iran's next political provocation."

The Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) will prepare a statement regarding the statement of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran (Parliament of Iran) condemning the opening of the Azerbaijani embassy in Israel, said Speaker Sahiba Gafarova, Report informs.

She said that on April 5, a biased political action against Azerbaijan was organized in the Iranian parliament, and a statement based on false and fabricated accusations was accepted:

"Unfortunately, Iran has never once objected to Armenia, which occupied the lands of Azerbaijan for 30 years and brutally plundered the wealth created by our people over the centuries, even supported it in various ways, and now is worried about the opening of Azerbaijan's embassy in Israel."
