Milli Majlis adopts Ombudsman's annual report

Baku. 5 March. REPORT.AZ/ Milli Majlis has adopted the annual report of Azerbaijan's Human Rights Commissioner on 2018.

Report informs that the annual report was submitted by Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova at today’s plenary meeting of the parliament.

The annual report features restoration of human rights and freedoms violated by the state and local self-governing bodies, protection of human rights and prevention of violations, activity on ensuring human rights, results of legal awareness and scientific-analytical work, cooperation with state bodies, public and mass media outlets, international relations, as well as proposals and recommendations on ensuring human rights and freedoms more reliably.

The report was adopted through voting following discussions.
