Emine Erdogan highly appreciates Azerbaijan's support related to earthquake

On March 29, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova met with Emine Erdogan, as part of her visit to the United States of America, Report informs, citing the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis.

Gafarova expressed her satisfaction with the meeting with Emine Erdogan and participation in the high-level event held at the United Nations at the initiative of the First Lady of Türkiye.

Sahiba Gafarova spoke about the role of parliaments in strengthening relations between two countries. She said that effective cooperation between the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis and the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye is successfully developing. In this regard, the speaker spoke about the importance of mutual visits of parliament chairpersons and parliamentary delegations and said that the MPs support each other's positions in prestigious international institutions.

Emine Erdogan emphasized the successful development of friendly and brotherly relations between the two states.
