Elman Rustamov appointed member of Central Bank's management board

Azerbaijani parliament has discussed Elman Rustamov’s appointment as a member of the Management Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. 

Report informs that the motion was ratified after the vote.

The last appointment of Elman Rustamov to this position was ratified by Azerbaijani parliament on April 5, 2015, for five years.

On April 9, 2015, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on this appointment.

68-year-old Elman Rustamov has been the chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan for 25 years.
