Zakir Hasanov, Maharram Aliyev visiting military units on frontline

Under the instruction of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the Minister of Defense Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Head of the Military Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Colonel General Maharram Aliyev have continued their visits to several military units stationed in the front line.

Report informs, citing the Defense Ministry, that the officials held meetings with personnel of military units in the frontline zone, headquarters buildings, soldiers' barracks, medical points, and other facilities. They also inspected combat armored vehicles, air squadrons, and other military equipment in the units.

On getting acquainted with the conditions created, Colonel General Hasanov and Colonel General Aliyev conveyed congratulations of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief on the occasion of the Novruz holiday to the servicemen. The meeting focused on issues of improving the social conditions of service members. It was noted that these works would continue in the future. The servicemen and their families expressed gratitude to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief for the attention and care provided by the state.

Then Colonel General Hasanov and Colonel GeneralAliyev met with civilian personnel working in the military unit, inquired about the provision of military personnel, congratulated them on holiday, and wished success in their work.
