Turkiye to hold next Efes-2022 military exercises in June

The next stage of the Efes-2022 military exercises conducted by the Turkish Armed Forces with the participation of Azerbaijani servicemen will be held in the second week of June, the Turkish National Defense Ministry said, Report informs via Anadolu.

According to the ministry, servicemen of Italy, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Pakistan, Albania, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, as well as a landing craft with helicopters, howitzers and armored vehicles of the US Armed Forces, will take part in Efes-2022.

More than a thousand foreign servicemen from 37 countries will participate in the drills. Efes-2022, the largest joint exercise in the Aegean region, is expected to bring together more than 10,000 servicemen, including units of the Turkish Armed Forces.
