Power of Azerbaijani army - guarantor of independence: Deputy

"Training of the Azerbaijani soldiers and officers in real combat conditions serves to improve their practical readiness and combat capability, Chairman of Democratic Reforms Party, MP Asim Mollazade told Report.

The current reforms aim at strengthening the Azerbaijani Army, he said.

"The Azerbaijani army has been equipped with the latest weapons. Moreover, high-ranking officers and military educational institutions' graduates join the drills. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces expand international relations, and enjoy close cooperation with NATO. The power of the army and supply of modern ammunition is guarantor of Azerbaijan's independence," he stressed.
