Ministry of Defense: Armenians planted mines in forest areas around Khojaly and Shusha

After the Patriotic War, the military personnel of the Armenian Armed Forces planted mines in 2 km-wide areas along the 480-kilometer line of contact, including about 100 km of territory from the Buzlug height to Mount Lachin, Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry told Report.

The ministry noted that in the Karabakh economic region, the landmines were planted mainly in the direction of settlements and cemeteries, in forest areas around the cities of Khojaly and Shusha, as well as on roads.
