Events to be held in Azerbaijan Army on Remembrance Day

According to the plan approved by the Minister of Defense Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, a series of events will be held in the Azerbaijan Army on September 27 in connection with Remembrance Day.

Report informs, citing the Ministry of Defense, the leadership of the ministry and other military personnel will visit the Alley of Honor and the Alley of Martyrs, lay flowers on the graves of the Great Leader, as well as the martyrs of the Patriotic War, and honor their memories.

Within the framework of the events, documentaries, video clips, photo and book exhibitions dedicated to the Patriotic War for military personnel will be shown.

The events will talk about the historical significance of the glorious victory won by the brave Azerbaijan Army under the leadership of the Supreme Commander, the role of the Azerbaijani people in the success, examples of bravery and heroism of the combatants, as well as the dear memories of Azerbaijani martyrs.

Also, military personnel will visit the families of martyrs and soldiers who lost their health in battles.
