Baku hosting 10th trilateral meeting of defense ministers of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Georgia - UPDATED

A tripartite meeting is being held in Baku between the Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, the Turkish National Defense Minister, Yashar Güler, and the Georgian Defense Minister, Juansher Burchuladze, Report informs.

The meeting is discussing military cooperation between states.

Before the meeting, bilateral meetings were held between the defense ministers of Azerbaijan-Georgia, Azerbaijan-Türkiye, and Georgia-Türkiye.

A tripartite meeting of the defense ministers of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Georgia will be held in Baku today, Report informs.

Azerbaijan's Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, Turkish National Defense Minister, Yashar Guler, and Georgia's Defense Minister, Juansher Burchuladze, are expected to participate in the meeting.

Guler is already in Baku.

The defense ministers will discuss the prospects for the development of military and defense cooperation between the three countries, holding joint exercises, and other issues.

Before the tripartite meeting, bilateral meetings are planned to be held between the defense ministers of Azerbaijan-Georgia, Azerbaijan-Türkiye, and Georgia-Türkiye.
