“Azerbaijani Army is ready for real battles”

The Azerbaijani Army regularly holds large-scale drills and fulfills all its tasks, said retired Colonel and military expert Shair Ramaldanov, Report informs.

“Today, the Azerbaijani Army’s duty is related to combat readiness, and it carries out all stages of this readiness. This is not a combat operation, but anyway, training is equal to fighting,” he said.

Ramaldanov praised the work of the professional officers mentioning that they are capable of undertaking any mission assigned to them.

“I think today we have enough professional staff and commanders,” he noted.

“The representatives of the Azerbaijani Army achieve high results in international competitions. Of course, the real indicators are those in battles, and I believe we are ready for this,” Ramaldanov said.
