The operation of the Azerbaijani Army was successfully completed at 9:15 Baku time, Report informs, citing Caliber.
"It was carried out in the shortest possible time, with the highest professionalism and precision (civilian objects were not damaged). The entire Armenian military infrastructure, which could have at least potentially been used for provocations in the Lachin and Kalbajar sectors of the border, was blown to pieces by the high-precision weapons available in the arsenal of our army, and it will take years to restore it," Caliber reports.
According to data available, the losses of the Armenian army ranged from 150 to 200 people killed, there are also hundreds of wounded. Two C-300 air defence systems were destroyed - the equipment worth more than half-a-billion dollars was scrapped.
"The Azerbaijani army has secured control of a number of important strategic positions and heights in the border zone, which is, as is known, not delimited. A number of strategic communications passing through Armenian territory were also taken under visual and fire control.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan has no intention to occupy the territory of another state, but will take the strongest measures to ensure the security of its borders. The blood of our Martyrs did not remain unavenged, the Armenian side was given a dignified response," Caliber reports.
Unfortunately, despite the agreements reached, provocations and firing continue from the territory of Armenia, Report informs via Caliber.
“It is interesting, what does Pashinyan hope for? One gets the impression that he is either trying to involve the CSTO in the conflict, as in 2020, or to discredit this organization in order to leave it in the future. In any case, the Armenian people will suffer from this,” Caliber noted.
Armenia's military infrastructure, including ammunition depots, military units, and air defense systems in the vicinity of the Lachin and Kalbajar districts on the Azerbaijan-Armenia state border, have been destroyed, Report informs via Caliber.
As a result of the retaliatory measures of the Azerbaijani Army after yesterday's provocation by the Armenian armed forces, a significant number of enemy forces were destroyed in the directions of Lachin and Kalbajar.
According to the publication, a ceasefire was reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia at 9:00 a.m. today.
"We will observe how Armenia will comply with this agreement. The chances are very fragile given Yerevan's past numerous provocations and violations of agreements," Caliber emphasized.
