Report Media School launches training in new format

Report Media School at Report Information Agency (IA) has launched a training program in a new format.

The students of the Media School will write news, interviews, reportages, and surveys, thus learning the secrets of journalism. News reporting will be paid particular attention during the training period.

Director of Report Information Agency Fuad Huseynaliyev met with the students of Report Media School and spoke about the novelties in the work of the School.

"For the first time, we have decided to hold the training in the Russian language. Report is among the leading agencies in the country. Both Russian and Ukrainian media refer to our news. We, in the agency, pay serious attention to the content in the Russian language. We attract graduates of Report Media School to work in the agency. Our Russian-language department needs competent and promising employees, and the news must respond to world standards."

Coordinator of the Report Media School, Ismayil Rafiqoglu, said the project continues successfully.

"Today, we are working on training decent professionals for the agency. New computers and some other equipment were bought to increase the professional level of young people. We have introduced some novelties in our teaching methodology. We hope to achieve good results," he said.

Report Media School has been operating since 2018. The purpose of the media school is to train professionals in the field of media in Azerbaijan, to convey modern trends used by the world media to young journalists, to reveal the potential of those who are interested in journalism and want to work in this field, to increase practical knowledge and skills. So far, dozens of young people have attended Report Media School. These young people work in various media outlets in the country.
