Media outlets to be banned to "steal" news from each other in Azerbaijan

The protection of copyright on the products of media entities will be ensured, the habit of media subjects to "steal" news from each other will be eliminated, the development of the ability to fight for news and news-making will be encouraged, Report informs, citing a bill on "Rationale for a draft law on media".

"Once the bill is adopted, it will give impetus to the seriousness of the journalism profession, create conditions for the elimination of negative perceptions of journalism and journalists in society, and strengthen mutual trust between the public and the media," the bill states.
