Irali spokesman: Establishing close contact with journalists main condition for press secretary

The main condition for a press secretary is to establish close contact with journalists from various media outlets, Arif Rahimli, spokesman of the Irali Public Union, said during a meeting with the students of Report Media School.

According to Report, Rahimli spoke about the difficulties of working as a press secretary in a non-governmental organization:

"There are thousands of non-governmental organizations in Azerbaijan. Working as a press secretary in such a place is not an easy task. It is a difficult task to ensure the participation of representatives of various media outlets in the events and conferences. That's why the press secretary should work to constantly communicate with website and television employees, and strengthen relations with journalists."

The press secretary emphasized that a journalist does not need special praise for his work.

"A journalist should not expect thanks from anyone for any work he does. His motivation should be the pieces he worked hard to create."

Arif Rahimli was born on July 16, 2003 in Baku. He currently studies at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, majoring in information technology. Rahimli joined volunteering projects in the State Migration Service, Baku Transport Agency, Binagadi District Executive Authority, Ministry of Youth and Sports and a number of institutions.

He started working in 2021 as an employee of the press office of Irali Public Union. Since April 2022, he has been working as the press secretary of the union. He headed such projects as "Increasing Media and PR Skills of NGO Employees", "Let's Know Smart Karabakh!". He is a graduate of the 7th group of Report Media School.
