Ilham Aliyev: "Azerbaijani media has entered the stage of rapid development"

In Azerbaijan, which regained its independence at the end of the 20th century, the democratic reforms implemented under the leadership of national leader Heydar Aliyev created a fundamental change in the development of national information resources just as in all other fields, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in a congratulatory message to media representatives, Report informs.

"As a result of the systematic measures implemented towards ensuring freedom of speech and information, forming a progressive legislative framework, and strengthening the independence of editorial boards, the Azerbaijani media has entered a stage of rapid development," the letter stated.
