Qatar's Ambassador: I hope that issue of the occupied territories of Azerbaijan will be resolved soon

Qatar's Ambassador Faisal bin Abdullah Hamad Abdullah Al Henzab visited the office of the Report News Agency.

The diplomat got acquainted with the activities of the editorial office.

During the conversation with the Agency's editor-in-chief Murad Aliyev, Henzab noted the importance of deepening bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Qatar through the Embassy's fruitful work with Azerbaijani media.

According to him, Qatar supports the position of friendly and fraternal Azerbaijan in resolving the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and expressed hope that the situation around the occupied territories of Azerbaijan will be resolved soon.

In turn, the editor-in-chief of the Report news Agency, Murad Aliyev, noted the need to develop relations between the media of Azerbaijan and Qatar to convey the realities of Azerbaijan to the public of Muslim countries.

Aliyev also reminded that in 2022 Qatar would host such an important event in sports- the World Cup. He noted that Report, which already has experience covering such critical sporting events, plans to prepare news from the World Cup in Doha.
