The 4th Shusha Global Media Forum will begin today.

According to Report, the two-day event is dedicated to the theme "The Mission of the Media in Promoting Peace: Restoring Truth and Rebuilding Trust."

The forum will bring together nearly 160 media representatives, experts, and officials from 53 countries. In addition, about 30 international news agencies and more than 60 leading media organizations will be represented. Delegates from around 10 international organizations and companies will also attend.

Within the framework of the forum, panel discussions, one-on-one meetings, and interactive sessions will be held on pressing topics such as the role of media in peacebuilding, cross-border media dialogue and the restoration of public trust, international cooperation in combating disinformation, creating a safe information environment on digital platforms, and media ethics and responsible journalism in the age of artificial intelligence.

The event aims to emphasize the importance of responsible conduct in media, contribute to restoring shaken trust between societies, strengthen digital solidarity, and take practical steps toward ensuring peace.
