Zakharova says unfailing implementation of Karabakh agreements 'is a priority'

No significant violations are recorded in the responsibility area of Russian peacekeepers in Karabakh, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a weekly briefing.

Report informs that, according to her, both Baku and Yerevan confirm this.

Commenting on the recent statements of official Yerevan, the spokesperson said the Russian side is closely watching the discussions in Azerbaijan and Armenia regarding the peace treaty.

"Unfortunately, principal disagreements on the political issues remain. Therefore, at this stage, we consider the unfailing implementation of all provisions of November 9 agreements at the high level to be a priority. It is related to the observance of ceasefire, resolution of complex humanitarian issues, deblocking economic and transport ties in the region. And we expect these steps to help create conditions for normalizing the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and reaching the final political solution," Zakharova said.
