Traveler from Germany: Visiting liberated Azerbaijani territories - unique chance

Visiting the liberated Azerbaijani territories is a unique chance, because for a long time it was impossible, German traveler Fabian Weidemann told Report.

He noted that it is very interesting to visit these territories and witness how these places are changing.

The German traveler shared his impressions of visiting the Azikh cave: “It was very dark and tight. I was interested to know that the remains of prehistoric people were discovered in this cave - one of the oldest human remains found in the world.”

“This is my first visit to Azerbaijan and, in general, to the South Caucasus region, I am only the second day here. I had no expectations, but I am very impressed with the beauty of Baku. It is a very beautiful and modern city,” he added.

A trip to Azerbaijan’s Karabakh and East Zangazur has begun for an international group of travelers representing 12 countries, formed in the UK. The travelers are in the Azikh cave in the Khojavand district of Azerbaijan. The group is accompanied by well-known Azerbaijani traveler Mehraj Mahmudov.

The 30-member group includes representatives from the US, the UK, Ireland, Belgium, Germany, France, Denmark, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Brazil and Russia.

Travelers will visit the liberated Azerbaijani territories on February 4-6 along the route Fuzuli-Khojavand-Shusha-Kalbajar-Lachin-Zangilan-Jabrayil-Agdam.
