Korotchenko calls on Pashinyan to give official reaction to terrorist attack near Shusha

The organizers and participants of the terrorist act committed near the Azerbaijani city of Shusha must be held accountable, and the Armenian terrorist must be brought to Baku, the editor-in-chief of Russia's Natsionalnaya Oborona magazine Igor Korotchenko said at a press conference in the city of Shusha.

"We expect Pashinyan's official response to the terrorist attack, which endangered the lives of Azerbaijani servicemen and Russian peacekeepers. The purpose of the attack was to confront the peacekeepers with the Azerbaijani military personnel. This cancer is already metastasizing, and similar attacks may be repeated in the future," Korotchenko said.

He noted that the terrorist used the Lachin corridor: "It is necessary to resolve the issue in connection with the implementation of passport control here, and further transfer the data on the entry and exit of Armenian citizens to the Azerbaijani side," he stressed.

The Russian expert noted that it is necessary to exert pressure on Armenia with both political and economic instruments so that Yerevan fulfills the conditions of the trilateral agreements, begins negotiations on the delimitation and demarcation of borders, and presents a map of minefields to the Azerbaijani side.
