15,000th container transported via BTK railway line

The 15,000th container was part of a Turkmenistan-Turkey train. The 40-foot carriage was delivered from Turkmenbashi port to Baku via the Silver Star feeder operated by ADY Container, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC. It further moved to Georgia's Akhalkalaki station and from there to Turkey.

ADY Container delivered polypropylene to Turkey in this carrier.

The volume of cargo transportation by BTK, which was launched on October 30, 2017, is growing steadily. So far, a total of 21,260 TEU containers have been transported in this direction. The figure has reached 10,779 TEU since the beginning of the year.
