First container train from Uzbekistan arrives at Alat port

ADY Container LLC, owned by Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (Azerbaijan), has delivered the first container train on the Asaka-Baku route, Report informs, referring to the company.
According to the data, a train of 50 containers, which departed from the Asaka logistics center in Uzbekistan, have arrived at the port of Alat.
40-foot containers loaded with auto parts were delivered through the Khojadavlat station to the port of Turkmenbashi in Turkmenistan and from there through the Caspian Sea to the Azerbaijani port of Alat.
The cargoes are intended for one of the factories for the production of passenger cars in Azerbaijan. Container trains on this route will depart regularly.
