Envoy: Diversification of Azerbaijani & Russian transport systems - new business opportunities

The Azerbaijani and Russian transport systems are increasingly diversifying, opening up new opportunities for doing joint business, Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Bocharnikov said during the event of the business mission of Russian companies in the field of urban infrastructure development - Smart City in Baku, Report informs.

He said that this is the second business mission of Russian companies in Azerbaijan this year, and the number of delegations is growing from time to time.

The Russian ambassador noted that the two countries enjoy a high level of political and economic relations set by the presidents of the two countries: “The two countries have very good economic indicators, although the pandemic has affected them, the trade turnover has returned to the pre-pandemic level.”

“The trade turnover is mainly in the non-oil sector,” Bocharnikov added, noting that this opens up new opportunities.
