Azerbaijan, Latvia intend to organize cargo transportation between Caspian & Baltic Seas

Azerbaijan and Latvia are exploring the possibility of finding suitable routes for cargo transportation between the Caspian and Baltic Seas, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
This issue was discussed at the meeting of Azerbaijani Deputy Minister Rahman Hummatov with Director General of the Latvian Investment and Development Agency Kaspars Rozkalns, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.
The meeting participants discussed issues of cooperation between the two countries in the field of transport links, digitalization of transport, ICT, cybersecurity, as well as establishing cooperation in the future in the field of ‘smart cities.’
