Azerbaijan sees over 5% rise in industrial production

From January through September this year, industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field manufactured products worth 54.5 billion manats, up 5.2% from the previous year, Report informs, citing eth State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, production in the non-oil and gas sector increased by 18.9%.

Some 64.5% of industrial products were in the mining sector, 29.9% in the processing sector, 4.8% in the production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and steam, 0.8% in the water supply, water treatment, and waste processing sector.

Commercial oil production in the mining sector increased by 0.1%, while marketable gas production rose by 23%.

The production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and the steam sector grew by 7.1%, and the water supply, water treatment, and waste processing sector ascended by 18.2%.
