Another Environmental Campaign within “Temiz Dashkasan” Project

Another environmental campaign was organized by AzerGold CJSC with the support of Dashkasan Demir Filiz (Iron Ore) LLC and Regional Development Public Union (RDPU) within the “Temiz (Clean) Dashkasan” Project, Report informs referring to the AzerGold.

The employees of Dashkasan Demir Filiz (Iron Ore) and the volunteers of RDPU took part in the campaign under the slogan of “In Solidarity for a Green World!”. Approximately two hectares of forest lands in Khoshbulag village were cleared of plastic, polyethylene, metal, glass, paper, cardboard and other wastes by the participants of the campaign. The collected wastes were sorted and sent for recycling. New waste containers and bins were provided in the territory of Dashkasan.

Note that, the main goal of the “Temiz Dashkasan” environmental project is to keep the environment clean, to prevent pollution by reducing household wastes, and to involve people in environmental protection. Such campaigns will be continued in different areas of the region for these purposes within the environmental project of “Temiz Dashkasan”.
