Squad of Azerbaijani national freestyle wrestling team named

Baku. 28 February. REPORT.AZ/ Squad of Azerbaijani national freestyle wrestling team has been announced. The team will participate in XXI international tournament in Kyiv, dedicated the memory of prominent Ukrainian wrestlers and coaches.

Report informs, 9 wrestlers will compete in the competition on March 3, under guidance of head coach Firdovsi Umudov, coaches Arif Abdullayev and Sadruddin Aygubov.

In the tournament, Azerbaijan will be represented by Parviz Ibrahimov, Mirjalal Hasanzade (both 57 kg), Ahmadnabi Gvarzatilov (61 kg), Teymur Mammadov, Mahammad Muslumov, Gitinomagomed Hajiyev (both 65 kg), Hajimurad Omarov (70 kg), Hajimurad Mahammadsaidov (86 kg) and Umar Israilov (125 kg). Azerbaijani International referee Vagif Zeynalli will also among referees of the contest.

According to the program, male wrestlers at weight category of 57 kg, 65 kg, 74 kg, 97 kg and female of 48 kg, 55 kg, 60 kg, 69 kg will compete on March 3, also, male wrestlers at 61 kg, 70 kg, 86 kg and 125 kg as well as female of 53 kg, 58 kg, 63 kg and 75 kg on March 4.
