Shakhriyar Mammadyarov comments on losing to Teymur Rajabov

"Thanks for your support. If I moved H6 instead of GH at the last meeting, I could  have won. I could win at the first meeting as well. I had great chances, but I couldn’t take advantage of them," Shakhriyar Mammadyarov said, commenting on his loss to Teymur Rajabov in the 1/8 finals of the World Chess Cup in Khanty-Mansiysk.

The 34-year-old grandmaster wished success to Rajabov: “I do not complain about fate. I got a chance. I wish Teymur success in the next stage. I wish myself to be careful in future competitions. I am glad that I will be next to my beloved family and son. There is a chance to become a champion. If not now, then tomorrow!".
