Sahib Alakbarov elected member of Executive Committee of European Cycling Union

Baku. 6 March. REPORT.AZ/ Vice president of Azerbaijan Cycling Federation, deputy minister of taxes Sahib Alakbarov has new occupation. 

Report informs, S.Alakbarov has been elected member of Executive Committee of European Cycling Union.

Election took place during general assembly of Committee held in Brussels, Belgium. Henrik Jens Jensen from Denmark, Martin Wolf from Germany, Agata Lang from Poland, Alexander Gusyatnikov from Russia, Rocco Cattaneo from Switzerland are other elected members of the committee. Last three names were also elected as vice presidents. Italian Enrico Della Casa will function as general secretary. David Lappartient from France was reelected as UEC president.

Notably, all elected officials will function until 2021.
