Paris apply to host Summer Olympic Games in 2024

Baku. 7 February. REPORT.AZ/ Paris can be candidate to host the Summer Olympic Games in 2024. Report informs referring to TASS, it was noted in the newspaper "Le Figaro".

The city officials hold consultations on this issue and they will make the final decision by June 2015. The place where the Olympic Games will be held in 2024, will be selected in 2017. The submission of applications will begin on 15 September of this year and will last until April and May 2016, when the International Olympic Committee finally approv the number of cities applying for the organization of competitions.

Boston and Rome have already filed the applications. In March, the German Olympic Committee will decide which city will be presented as a candidate - Berlin or Hamburg.
